Glass artist, Edward M. Hammond, of East Troy, Pennsylvania, has been hand blowing and sculpturing glass since 1976. He was taught by "Wilbur Scientific" and has taught himself through the years.Ed works with hard and soft, clear and color glass, with different flame working techniques including freehand, spun, blown and solid glass. His quality and unique pieces are sold world-wide with many accounts throughout the area.Ed also had a gift shop at Kennebunkport, Maine, and participated in a lot of arts and crafts shows in the New England area.Moving back to East Troy in 1995, he continues his knowledge of glass artistry in his Studio and Gift Shop.Ed produces a large variety of glass pieces, such as wedding cake tops, goblets, jewelry, paperweights, Christmas ornaments, marbles, carousels and so much more.He also does custom work and teaches students how to create and expand their imagination in glass art.
